Organization
The UCSF Academic Geriatric Resource Center is the administrative base for AGRP activities on the UCSF campus, and a focal point for geriatric education activities through the UCSF Center on Aging. Seth Landefeld, M.D., is the AGRC Center Director, and Joan B. Wood, Ph.D., is Campus Planner. Administrative oversight for the AGRC is provided by Dr. Landefeld and by the Executive Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs, A. Eugene Washington, M.D., the Academic Coordinator for the AGRC, who is appointed by the UC Chancellor.
A Campus Advisory Committee functions in an advisory capacity to the AGRC Director and the Campus Planner in planning, implementing, and evaluating geriatric education activities on campus. Committee members are appointed by the Chancellor in consultation with the AGRC Academic Coordinator, Dr. Washington.

At the state level, the Academic Geriatric Resource Program is administered through the University of California Office of the Vice-President for Health Affairs. An AGRP Systemwide Advisory Committee (SAC) functions in an advisory capacity to the Vice-President on a wide range of policy, budget and administrative issues. The SAC includes representatives from each of the six UC health sciences campuses and one-at-large nursing representative. Each campus has an Academic Coordinator and a Campus Planner.
